Workshop #1 The Needs of Children
This workshop will give you the insights and skills to learn what infants and children really need. Early childhood is the most critical and most vulnerable time in any child’s development. In the first years of life the foundation for intellectual, emotional and moral growth are laid down.
- Identify the specifics of how to raise happy, confident, creative, intelligent, and emotionally healthy children.
- Understand the most basic needs, without which children cannot grow, learn and flourish.
- How to raise damage free children.
- Acquire skills to effectively meet 5 irreducible needs.
- In this fun workshop, you’ll hear useful, practical answers to help children thrive.
Workshop #2 Discipline That Works! (2 Part workshop)
No doubt about it: Raising children is one of the hardest jobs we’ll ever have. In the real world children misbehave – sometimes mildly, other times explosively. This workshop will provide you with effective how to’s: how to get them to listen… And to obey and respond appropriately. You are warmly invited to our parenting workshop where you’ll learn for principles that make discipline work.
- Understand why children misbehave and learn discipline skills that work.
- What to do when children ‘push your buttons’.
- Learn how to discipline without yelling.
- Powerful techniques to help you stay in control of yourself and in charge of children.
- How to grow a happy, co-operative child.
(Part two helps parents learn experientially the skills of the four principles.)
Workshop #3 Discovering your child’s personal style
Within each child are the seeds for greatness. Those seeds are contained within their temperament. Temperament is all about understanding why people are different in predictable ways – why are some children naturally quiet, others very nosy; some are curious, while others are cautious; some are persistent, while others get easily distracted? Children behave or misbehave in predictable ways because of the way they are wired – their temperament. An understanding of your child’s temperament provides parents with a ‘map’ of how their child can be their very best.
- Learn how to change problem behaviour by winning co-operation and commitment from a child.
- Understand the different emotional, behavioural, and learning styles of children.
- Recognise the unique way a child thinks, feels and acts.
- Identify your own parenting (caregiver) strengths and use this knowledge to improve your connection with your child.
- Discover practical ways to direct child’s energies in constructive ways and avoid conflicts.
Workshop #4 Mastering Discipline
This parent workshop will make you aware of why discipline can be such a hassle and offer powerful and practical, researched based insights and ideas how to meet these challenges. You’ll discover why many children no longer respond to discipline methods that once worked (like time out). Why children resist and how parents persistence leads to even greater misbehaviour. Learn how some children get ‘stuck’ and how to get them unstuck. Learn why we sometimes lose it as parents and what we can do about it. Develop new parenting confidence that leads to your child liking you and wanting to please you.

Marriage
Workshop #1 Building closeness
Having a baby is always a joyous experience, but the transition from a couple to a family can put a real strain on the best of relationships. It’s a fact – at least 75% of all married couples experience a significant decrease in marital satisfaction following the birth of their first child. Research also shows that on average, couples wait six years from the first signs of problems before they seek help. With rising divorce rates, couples face major challenges to marital stability. This workshop is designed to help you beat the odds by teaching you exactly what successful couples do to maintain romance and harmony in their marriage.
